Troop 978 -- All About us

- We operate out of St. Thecla Roman Catholic Church on the far Northwest side of Chicago
- We Serve Onahan, St. Thecla, Norwood, and Prussing Grammar Schools
We also serve St. Patrick, Notre Dame, and Taft High Schools.
- 16 boys are in the unit from ages 11 to 16
- Our unit is active in the community helping with Blood Drives, Park refurbishments, and of course we do a lot of good old fashioned camping
- We spend 8 days at Owasippe Scout Reservation every summer, and this year, nine of our members are going to go to the National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill Virginia
