Mr. Ken Hawley "the revered one" celebrated 50 years as a Scouter in September2004!

I'll bet when Baden Powell had Scouts and Leaders in mind he was thinking of Mr. Hawley.

     History of the Troop, Pack, and Church !  

Troop 978 has been in existence since 1964, we celebrated our 40th Anniversary in 2004.

Pack 978 has been in existence since 2002, and we are looking forward to many years of Cubs passing through to the Troop. 

We have had only 6 Scoutmasters, we have 43 Eagle Scouts in our Eagle's Honor Roll (several in progress) to date, and hundreds of Scouts have pass through the Troop.

Most of this existence has been spent with the Church of the Resurrection "Copley Parish" Bridge and Anchor Drives, Joppa Maryland.
